Elements, Gifs, and Stickers in Graphic Maker

Elements are organized into five categories: Recents, Gifs, Stickers, Assets, and Shapes.

  • Recents shows elements you've used recently.
  • Gifs and Stickers let you add animated content to your design, powered by Giphy's library. Once added, a GIF stays active and animated when you share your graphic via a link.
  • Assets includes objects, animals, plants, and other graphics you can add to your project.
  • Shapes offers elements for defining spaces, adding emphasis, or layering to build new designs.

A search bar is also available to help you find specific elements quickly.

After selecting an element, GIF, or sticker, you'll see options to add a shadow, crop, duplicate, reorder the layer, lock it, adjust opacity, and delete it:

  • Shadow — click the shadow button and choose a color, then fine-tune the horizontal position, vertical position, and blur to get the effect you want.
  • Crop — select the element to bring up the crop overlay with handles. Use the handles to resize and reposition, then click Apply to save.
  • Duplicate — click the plus icon to create an exact copy of the selected element, which you can then edit and reposition independently. Handy for creating multiple variations of the same element.
  • Reorder — use the forward, front, backward, and back buttons to move a selected layer to the position you want, giving you more control over your design's layering.
  • Lock — click the lock icon to keep an element in place. A locked element can't be moved or edited until it's unlocked — useful for protecting parts of your design while you work on the rest.
  • Opacity — use the opacity slider to adjust transparency. Slide left to decrease opacity (more transparent), right to increase it (more opaque).
  • Delete — click the delete button, or press the delete key on your keyboard.

Icons in Graphic Maker

Icons are similar to elements, but more standardized — familiar symbols used to convey common ideas, like download, attachment, social media, or folder icons.

Like elements, icons can be duplicated, locked, adjusted for opacity, and layered using the same options described above.
